After an incredible 22 years of loyal service to McFarlane Trust, we are saying a fond farewell to our colleague and Team Leader, John McIlhargey, as he begins his well-deserved retirement.
John joined McFarlane Trust in February 2002, starting his career with us as a Support Worker. Just three years later, in 2005, his dedication and commitment were recognised when he was promoted to Team Leader.
Throughout his 22 years with the Trust, John worked across several of our services, making a lasting contribution wherever he went. For the past three years, John has been part of the team at his beloved Amochrie, working alongside Paul, Stewart and Alan.
John has been a valued colleague and an important part of the McFarlane Trust family. His commitment, experience and friendly nature will be greatly missed by everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him.

On behalf of everyone at McFarlane Trust, thank you, John, for 22 years of dedicated service and for being such a wonderful colleague.
We wish you a long, happy and fulfilling retirement. We hope you enjoy every minute of this next chapter — you’ve certainly earned it!
Good luck and farewell, John!
