Last month, McFarlane Trust marked a major milestone with 30 years of service with a celebratory party at Johnstone Town Hall on Friday 21 November 2025.
The event was a gathering of current and former staff, volunteers, and the people supported by the Trust, sharing music, food, memories. We even had a few carefully planned surprises including Lesley being awarded a beautiful gift of flowers for her many years of service.
Every “house” within McFarlane Trust was invited to join in the celebration, and one of the highlights was a creatively themed invitation: the residents at Atholl Gardens won with their “family tree” concept, emphasising community and history. Around the big hall, all the houses had brought along decorations too.
The party wasn’t only about celebrating the past, it was also a moment to look forward. Through warmth, laughter and togetherness, McFarlane Trust recognised the dedication of everyone who’s been part of its journey, and reaffirmed its commitment to support, care and community for the decades ahead.
A big thank you to all who attended – more pictures and stories on this coming soon!
