Derek moved into one of our supported living services in Paisley last year. In his new home, he was able to access Sky Sports and YouTube which introduced him to the world of boxing. Derek quickly fell in love with the sport, and it’s now one of his favourite hobbies.

Derek and his keyworker, Jamie, have visited boxing events together in the past but a recent visit to London he was able to live out a dream situation. Derek’s favourite boxer, Katie Taylor, arranged for him and Jamie to visit London and see her box in person. You can see for yourself how much Derek loved it in the video below!
