We held our first Peoples Forum of 2026 on Wednesday 26th of April. We had a good turn out with ten of the people we support joining us at Head Office.
This was the first time we had met since the big 30th anniversary party in November so there was lots of chat about the event. Everyone agreed that it was a great success and well worth all the hard work that went into arranging it.
We spoke about various topics such as the recent Care Inspectorate visit, our newsletter, ideas for a summer competition and then went through individual agendas.
We were all very impressed when Kathryn told us about her latest adventure. She told us that as a Christmas present, her three brothers had clubbed together to buy her skiing lessons at the Glasgow Ski and Snowboard Centre at Bellahouston Park. Kathryn said that she loves the lessons and has become very good on the slope.
In line with tradition, we finished with a huge delivery of pizzas and some more chat!
